writ of mandamus

noun

A writ that compels a government entity to perform mandatory or purely ministerial duties correctly.

an extraordinary writ commanding an official to perform a ministerial act that the law recognizes as an absolute duty and not a matter for the official's discretion; used only when all other judicial remedies fail

It may be a useful tool going forward

They also haven't been updating the FOI disclosure log.

Yes, I have noticed that. That might also need an FOI or at least question posed to the Ombudsman

This seems to be the norm as “it may produce vaccine hesitancy.” Well at least that’s what the TGA use as their excuse.

Great to see you using comedy in your delivery. Good mouse work. Not cheesy at all.

Well done, had the same experience and had to finally serve a "Draft" writ of Mandamus on SA Health before they would release the data that the Ombudsman said I had a right to. Shout out to Rex Patrick who guided me through the process.

I've never heard of such, but this is great to keep in mind! I wonder if your FOI is in their public log? There's no FOIs for the last 12 months.

I'm trying to get organised. My email inbox is littered with them. Some interesting ones should be being released soon (going through ombudsman again).

I'll likely just release them here though.

There are ones that others have received, but I'm unsure about whether to upload theirs.

I need to purchase Adobe so that I can properly redact them..

The duration of life depends greatly on the decisions we make. Whilst some of my earlier life was rather challenging, throwing me off course compared to my peers.. it enabled me to develop a healthy skepticism for authority. I suspect this repulsion to coercion and willingness to immediately question our spurious CHO rather than take what she says on faith will have ensured a longer life.

Life is about saying "FU" to anyone who gives you unreasonable ultimatums which place your integrity/health at risk.
